EES and Edit+ for Squiz Matrix Update Released

Earlier this year, Squiz launched Edit+ for Squiz Matrix, an extension of the existing Easy Edit Suite, offering premium editing and accessibility auditing functionality. Along with support for Redirect Page assets within the editing interface, Edit+ for Squiz Matrix was a major leap forward for enhancing the Matrix editing experience.

New updates are available today for both Edit+ for Squiz Matrix and the Easy Edit Suite. These latest releases introduce a number of bug fixes, as well as adding support for the creation and configuration of both Link and Data Record asset types.

In addition to these standard updates, Edit+ for Squiz Matrix also sees a number of enhancements to the Viper WYSIWYG editor (39 bug fixes) and the Accessibility Auditor (7 bug fixes).

This release is currently available for Easy Edit Suite users on the Squiz Matrix site.

Existing users of EES v1645 will need to merely replace their EES folder on their installation while those on earlier versions should consult the EES Upgrade and Compatibility Guide for upgrade information. New users can refer to the EES Installation Guide for install and configuration steps for the Easy Edit Suite.
