Squiz Matrix Versions 4.8.4 and 4.10.0 Released

We have two new releases of Squiz Matrix today, including our first version of the new 4.10.x branch. As always, both releases include an impressive array of new functionality and performance improvements.

Version 4.8.4 of Squiz Matrix is the newest release of our 4.8.x branch, released in March, 2012. This release contains two new enhancements and sixteen bug fixes.

Squiz Matrix 4.10.0 is the first release of our 4.10.x branch after last month's release candidate. This version of Matrix contains five new enhancements and seventeen bug fixes in addition to the twenty features/enhancements and twenty-four bug fixes introduced in 4.10.0 RC1.
Features introduced in this latest branch of Squiz Matrix include the ability to nest keyword replacements within keyword modifiers, a new keyword replacement to display front-end metadata in the HTML source code of an asset, a new trigger event and condition to evaluate the response of a REST Resource, and a new trigger action to dynamically link a user to a user group.

These releases are currently available via the public CVS repository (http://public-cvs.squiz.net/). You can checkout these versions by running the checkout script as follows:

./checkout.sh mysource_4-8-4
./checkout.sh mysource_4-10-0

The latest Matrix Automatic Upgrade scripts are also currently available for download on the Squiz Matrix site.

Please note that virtual machine image of Squiz Matrix v4.10.0 is slightly delayed, however, this release will be available for download on the Squiz Matrix site soon. For more information on installing a VM image, refer to the Virtual Machine Setup Guide.
